Welcome to the online home of the Captain Keeton Chicken Money Scholarship!

This scholarship is designed to reward academic excellence and preserve the memory of an aviation pioneer, James H. Keeton. Captain Keeton was a resident of Mississippi and Alabama, and is a member of the Alabama Aviation Hall of Fame. His list of achievements in life is long, but yet he funded much of his initial flight training in the 1930s with money that he won from raising prize chickens.
